The Music Business And YOU!!

The Music industry is one of the toughest industry’s to get in. Trust me I have been in it professionally for 5 years now but I was trying to get in it for about 10. This game will chew you up and spit you out if you are WHACK, DISLOYAL, CORNEY, FAKE, UN-TALENTED, TOO OLD, TOO UGLY and any other thing you can think of. Luckily for me I started when I was 9 and I also had an uncle that was a executive at a major company so I kinda got in but not everybody has an famous executive in the family so let me tell you what I’ve learned that will help you get in the game. There are three major components things that will defiantly get you in this business “in no particular order” they are TALENT, PATIENCE AND PERSEVERANCE.

Let me explain each

Talent: in order to be a success in this business you need talent. Some people are born with it others have to work and develop it but talent is what gets you in the door and keeps you in once your there. talent is what separates the artist with staying power from the one hit wonders.

PATIENCE: I can’t stress patience enough, patience is what your gonna need for all the no’s that your gonna get while trying to get in the game but trust and believe me there will be a yes so keep on trying and you will defiantly get what you want.

Perseverance: Perseverance will keep you going strong when you feel like giving up. NUFF SAID don’t stop and I promise you will see your reward!!!
